Jane Scarth choral concert

Romsey Abbey – Tuesday 4th July

Great Performances by the youth choir and children’s choir at the Jane Scarth Choral Concert tonight. The evening was a wonderful celebration of school choral singing in Romsey.  Mountbatten School, Romsey School, Romsey Abbey School, Awbridge School, Cupernham School and Wellow school all gave beautiful performances.

The youth choir completed the concert singing What a wonderful world followed by a stunning performance of Ola Gjeilo’s Ubi Caritas. The children’s choir sang a vibrant and entertaining version of The Bare Necessities and both choirs combined together to sing Hakuna Matata – thank you to Matthew Chapple for the great opening.

Hopefully a good sum of money raised for a very worthy charity and a very enjoyable night had by all.

Spanish Dinner

Getting ready for tonight’s gourmet dinner. Fund raising for the choir to sing in the Sagada Familia in Barcelona in July and the Red Cross Appeal for the Grenfell Tower victims
