Day 7

Great final 2 days – Cahors market, picnic by Pont Valentrè and swimming and then our final day in Sarlat, singing the baptismal mass in Sarlat Cathedral, lunch, explore and then one of the most amazing concerts we have ever given – the cathedral was packed, lots of people had to stand. Our host had written articles in 3 papers about our visit – it certainly did the job. Lots of wonderful comments including a professor from the Vienna Music Conservatoire who spoke to the choir about their amazing blended sound, beautiful tone and wonderful dynamics – particularly the quiet moments – one very happy MD. We are now getting ready for our journey home. I will ask the children to message home with timings when we are nearer. We have 2 large laundry bags of uniform, one black and one blue. If a couple of parents could take a bag each, wash, dry and fold away the uniform back into the bag I’d be so grateful
