Great final day in Belgium – lovely choir picnic in the grounds of the Passchendaele Memorial Museum, followed by a very moving talk from Fleur on the five young Romsey Men whose names are on the Menin Gate having lost their lives at Passchendaele and the surrounding area. We then visited Tynecot Cemetery – so many young lives lost and even more moving when we realised that many of our older young men are the same age as those who went to war 110 years ago.
