58 members of the choir performed in three classes at the Portsmouth Music Festival. The choral adjudicator Angela Rowley said that the choir sang with a “beautiful legato sound”, with “well-balanced part singing” and “well-contrasted programmes”. The RYC chamber choir made their first public appearance on Friday, carol singing during the late night shopping evening in Bradbeers. They performed two 20 minutes slots of songs of RYC repertoire and enjoyed the free drink and cake during the break.
