Romsey Abbey –\u00a0<\/u><\/b>Tuesday 4th July<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

Great Performances by the youth choir and children’s choir at the Jane Scarth Choral Concert tonight. The evening was a wonderful celebration of school choral singing in Romsey.\u00a0 Mountbatten School, Romsey School, Romsey Abbey School, Awbridge School, Cupernham School and Wellow school all gave beautiful performances.<\/p>\n

The youth choir completed the concert singing What a wonderful world followed by a stunning performance of Ola Gjeilo’s Ubi Caritas. The children’s choir sang a vibrant and entertaining version of The Bare Necessities and both choirs combined together to sing Hakuna Matata – thank you to Matthew Chapple for the great opening.<\/p>\n

Hopefully a good sum of money raised for a very worthy charity and a very enjoyable night had by all.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
