The Romsey URC is now our permanant rehearsal venue on Tuesdays from 5pm to 6pm.\u00a0<\/p>\n

RYCC thoroughly enjoy taking part in the The Five Choirs Concert in Romsey Abbey.\u00a0 Such a great fundraiser event – this year it will be the start of the Romsey Abbey Primary school’s 175th celebration.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

In December we have two concerts in Romsey Abbey – the George’s Trust Christmas Concert and RYC’s own Christmas Celebration Concert.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The picture below is from the 2021 RYC Summer Concert – This was our first post-covid event and was such a fantastic experience after such a tough time in 2021.<\/p>\n

\"\"Does your child love to sing? Romsey Youth Children\u2019s choir was set up in September 2016 for children aged 8 to 11 who enjoy singing. If your child would like to join the choir or you would like any more information, please contact Marion to see if we have any places on md@romseyyouthchoir.org.uk<\/a><\/p>\n

During its first ten years, the children\u2019s choir has been awarded trophies for their performances at the Southampton Music Festival and has taken part in various concerts including performances in Romsey Abbey, Romsey URC, Thornden Concert Hall, Crossfield Hall and The Anvil Basingstoke.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Singing is great fun and a wonderful way of building young people\u2019s confidence, making new friends and being a part of a team.\u00a0 The choir is free to join and there are no auditions but we do ask for commitment to attend rehearsals and concerts where possible\u00a0– bringing as many supporters as possible.<\/p>\n

The choir uniform is a red, blue or purple RYC T-shirt and a Black Hoody – these cost \u00a38 and \u00a318 respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n
